Updated - Solat Hajat UPSR
In the PIBG meeting last week, it was decided that the Solat Hajat for UPSR will be held on August 14th (Khamis malam Jumaat) 2008 at the school's open hall. This is another effort to supplicate to the Almighty that our efforts are just means and that we have done our utmost best; whilst the final result are entirely in His hands. We hope that the Almighty favors our efforts and doings; and grant us favourable outcome of the UPSR...amin.

Hi Parents
I feel this is a good idea. However, I know the exercise is best performed at a mosque. Besides the aura and facilities, the congregation can bring out the best of its intentions in such a special place of "rahmat".
My opinion is that the Imam would be more than willing to share his thoughts.
Should there be any clarifications that need to be pursued on this matter, I could also assist, if required. BTW, the prayers can be done at 10am on Saturday and we have the mosque all to ourselves.
Again, this is good and let's do it.

Here's the clarification: Solat Hajat UPSR will be held on 14 August 2008 (missed the prefix 1 in the blog entry, but has already been corrected) which falls on Khamis malam Jumaat. Datanglah beramai-ramai semoga bertambah berkat usaha dan makbul doa kita.

It's good that the school is conducting the solat hajat. We parents can also do it again on the next Thursday night,ie malam Jumaat in the mosque. How about that?
